Commanders say Marshon Lattimore will play this weekend

Cornerback Marshon Lattimore’s Commanders debut is going to come against his former team.

Lattimore has been a full participant in practice this week and the Commanders confirmed on Friday that he will play in Sunday’s game against the Saints. The Saints traded Lattimore to the Commanders last month, but he has been out with a hamstring injury since coming to Washington.

During his Friday press conference, Commanders head coach Dan Quinn said that Lattimore will be in the starting lineup.

“We’re just pumped to have him back,” Quinn said, via Zach Selby of the team’s website.

Wide receiver Noah Brown has been the only member of the Commanders active roster to miss practice due to injury this week. He’s likely to miss the rest of the season with a kidney injury.
