UFC Freedom 250 audience fell a little short of the Super Bowl

Joe Gruters was only off by 117.2 million.

Earlier this week, the Republican National Committee chair made the loony claim that more people watched the UFC Freedom 250 event on the White House lawn than watched the Super Bowl.

The numbers are now in. Per multiple reports, Paramount says 8.2 million watched the event on Paramount+. (As noted by Mattew Belloni of Puck, that’s a “fraction” of what marquee sporting events deliver — and it’s less than the audience for Marshals or Tracker.)

And (shocker) it’s far, far less than the Super Bowl LX audience of 125.6 million.
