Jason McCourty signs exclusive deal with ESPN

Jason McCourty will remain part of the NFL media landscape in 2026, but his role in it will be a little different.

ESPN announced that they have signed McCourty to a new, multi-year contract as a contributor to the network’s coverage of the league. McCourty will appear as an analyst on multiple shows on the network, which will be broadcasting Super Bowl LXI from Los Angeles in February.

McCourty’s new deal makes him exclusive to ESPN, so he will no longer be serving as a game analyst for CBS during the regular season. McCourty had been calling games with Andrew Catalon and Charles Davis in that role.

Davis will be the lead college football color commentator for CBS in 2026, so Catalon will need a new partner for any games he’s calling during the NFL season.
