Commanders sign offensive linemen Daniel Brunskill and Nicholas Petit-Frere

The Commanders tripled down on veteran offensive line additions Saturday.

In addition to their previously reported signing of Max Scharping, the Commanders announced that they have signed Daniel Brunskill and Nicholas Petit-Frere.

Brunskill has seen time at all three spots on the line while appearing in 117 games for the 49ers, Titans and Dolphins. He played in 16 games for the Dolphins last season and made five starts.

Petit-Frere played tackle while with the Titans from 2022-2024. He started 28 of the 34 games he played for Tennessee and was Brunskill’s teammate for his final two seasons with the team.

The Commanders announced that they have placed defensive tackle D.J. Davidson on the reserve/retired list. They also waived wide receiver Chris Hilton Jr. and guard Timothy McKay in corresponding moves.
