As clock ticks toward Sunday night, Malik Nabers waits for a sign from above

The Giants host the Cowboys on Sunday night. Star receiver Malik Nabers, who suffered a torn ACL in Week 4 of the 2025 season, may or may not play.

Nabers is leaving the decision up to the man in charge.

Not coach John Harbaugh. Higher. All the way to the top.

I’ll let God tell me,” Nabers said this week. “We’ve got a plan. He’s got the plan. I’m just following in his footsteps that he wants me to take.”

Nabers has concerns about his readiness to play. And those concerns are legitimate.

“I can’t put my career at risk,” Nabers said. “There’s a lot of football that I still have left to play.”

The Giants hope the next act comes today. But it comes down to whether he believes he’s ready. Which comes down to the message he ultimately gets from the man upstairs.
