Colts open practice window for Ryan Kelly, Jaylon Carlies

Coming out of their bye, the Colts are getting a few players back at practice on Wednesday.

Via multiple reporters, head coach Shane Steichen said at his press conference that center Ryan Kelly and linebacker Jaylon Carlies have been designated to return with their 21-day practice windows opened.

Kelly has missed time with a knee injury and Carlies has been out with a fibula injury.

After missing the Week 13 win over the Patriots, receiver Josh Downs (shoulder) is set to practice on Wednesday.

Offensive lineman Tanor Bortolini (concussion) is also set to practice.

But offensive tackle Braden Smith (personal) won’t practice on Wednesday. Steichen noted Smith is not expected to play and he’s unsure if Smith will play again in 2024.

Indianapolis’ full injury report will be out later on Wednesday.
