After his team’s preseason opener, Lions head coach Dan Campbell offered an interesting observation about something he didn’t see.
Asked by a reporter after the game about a specific play when a player got injured, Campbell said he didn’t see it because, unlike the reporters in the press box and the fans watching at home, Campbell is only seeing what happens on the field in front of him, not all the TV angles.
“You get a better view than I do,” Campbell told the reporter. “I don’t get to see all that stuff. I wish they’d just give us a monitor we can walk around with so we actually watch the game with you guys while we’re watching that game…
