Deion Sanders’s preparation for Colorado’s 2026 opener could be complicated by an unrelated obligation.

Brent Schrotenboer of USA Today reports that Deion has been subpoenaed to testify at the upcoming bankruptcy trial involving his son, Shilo.

The trial begins on Monday, August 31. The following Saturday, Colorado plays at Georgia Tech.

The presiding judge recently commented on the situation during a pre-trial conference.
