Quarterback Justin Fields is not ready to get back on the field, however. Fields was listed as questionable with the abdominal injury that sidelined him last week and he’s inactive again on Wednesday.
Cornerback Joey Porter Jr. and wide receiver Ben Skowronek were ruled out on Tuesday. The other Steelers inactives are linebacker Preston Smith and defensive lineman Dean Lowry.
On the Kansas City side, defensive tackle Chris Jones is out with a calf injury but right tackle Jawaan Taylor is good to go after being listed as questionable with a knee injury. Defensive back Chamarri Conner and left tackle D.J. Humphries were ruled out for the second straight game while defensive end Josh Uche, offensive lineman C.J. Hanson, tackle Ethan Driskill, and defensive end Malik Herring were Wednesday scratches.
