The New England Patriots and Jacksonville Jaguars have one half of their international matchup in the books. So far, it’s been a game of major swings in momentum.
At the start, it was the Patriots who took command of this game after jumping out to a 10-0 lead in the early minutes of the second quarter. However, the Jaguars came alive after falling down to that double-digit deficit by rattling off a 22-0 run before the break. Brian Thomas Jr. was the sparkplug of this run, scoring the team’s first touchdown and then hauling in a 58-yard reception that led to their second touchdown of the day.
Jacksonville not only saw the offense put up points, but special teams also got in on the action with Parker Washington returning a punt 96 yards to the house to put them up by two scores.
