Real Madrid vs. Milan and Liverpool vs. Leverkusen scores: Live updates from Tuesday’s Champions League action

Matchday four of Champions League league phase action is underway and this is when the table begins to take shape and marquee matches mean a little more. There are quite a few of those on Tuesday as Liverpool host Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen side and Real Madrid welcome a red hot Christian Pulisic and Milan. Ruben Amorim will also get his first experience of the Manchester rivalry with Manchester City traveling to face Sporting Club Portugal before taking over Manchester United during the November international break. 

It’ll be quite a slate of matches as this will be the first time Real Madrid takes the pitch since losing El Clasico to Barcelona and seeing Vinicius Junior not win the Ballon d’Or. Add Liverpool looking to continue their strong form under Arne Slot against their former midfielder and the storylines are quite juicy.
