Australian Reid Taylor will race for ClubMX as a replacement rider for the injured Devin Simonson in the Monster Energy Supercross 250 East division.
“When Reid was training here last year, we could see some level of talent as he adapted to our supercross tracks,” said ClubMX Team Owner Brandon Haas in a news release. “Watching him in Australia this year, we could see he has really developed into a good racer. We have some time to work with him before we get to Tampa and we will be spending that time wisely.”
Taylor has trained at the ClubMX facility in Chesterfield, South Carolina, and was already familiar with the team and program. The 2025 season will be the first time Taylor has raced in American Supercross, but he comes to the series as the 2023 Australian Junior Supercross Champion and the 2024 Indian Supercross Championship.
“I am truly grateful for the opportunity to join ClubMX for the AMA Eastern Regional Championship,” Taylor said. “I’m excited to work with the world class team and train again at such an industry-leading facility alongside some of the best riders and coaches in the world. I look forward to learning from everyone, working together, and growing as a rider in 2025.”
Taylor will race alongside and train with Maximus Vohland, Coty Schock, and Mark Fineis.
