Report: Follow-up confirms Breece Hall’s groin injury is minor

Jets running back Breece Hall received good news Monday: A follow-up confirmed his groin injury is minor, Connor Hughes of SNY TV reports.

The Jets are expected to be deliberate in his return, but he is week-to-week rather than month-to-month, Hughes adds.

Coach Aaron Glenn downplayed Hall’s injury during his news conference, calling it a strain and not a big deal.

Hall did undergo an MRI after leaving practice early on Monday.

He played in New York’s first preseason game against Tampa Bay, totaling four carries for 16 yards.

In 2025, Hall rushed for 1,065 yards with four touchdowns last season and added 36 catches for 350 yards with one touchdown.
