Seahawks safety Nick Emmanwori remained limited in Monday’s practice. That doesn’t bode well for his availability for Wednesday’s season opener against the Patriots.
Emmanwori did not take participate in any of the team’s open practices during camp, according to Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times. Emmanwori is working his way back from arthroscopic surgery in July to repair his right ankle, which he initially injured in the 2025 season opener and then aggravated in a practice before Super Bowl LX.
Starting safety Ty Okada’s status for Week 1 also is in question as he missed a second consecutive day. The team’s other starting safety, Julian Neal, was a full participant a second consecutive day with a quad injury.
D’Anthony Bell, who re-signed to the practice squad on Saturday, started two games in Emmanwori’s third safety role a year ago when Emmanwori was out with an ankle injury.
The Seahawks had only one change to their practice report from Sunday, with offensive guard Anthony Bradford (knee) upgraded to full participation. Bradford was limited on Sunday.
Wide receiver Tory Horton (hamstring) and offensive tackle Josh Jones (knee) again were limited.
Tight end A.J. Barner (oblique) and running back Emanuel Wilson (hamstring) remained full participants.
