For the Rams, it’s just as easy to list the players who aren’t captains as it is to list those who are.
The team has announced a whopping eleven captains for 2026.
They are: quarterback Matthew Stafford, running back Kyren Williams, receiver Davante Adams, tight end Tyler Higbee, center Coleman Shelton, defensive end Myles Garrett, defensive tackle Kobie Turner, linebacker Nate Landman, cornerback Trent McDuffie, defensive back Quentin Lake, and long snapper Joe Cardona.
Few if any teams have ever had that many captains. For whatever reasons, the Rams have decided to have that many players with a “C” on their jerseys.
Conspicuous in their omission are defensive tackle Aaron Donald, who is returning after a two-year retirement, and receiver Puka Nacua, one of the best receivers in the NFL.
