The Showdown golf match live updates: Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy battle Bryson DeChambeau, Brooks Koepka

PGA Tour and LIV Golf superstars share the spotlight for one night in Las Vegas on Tuesday as Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler face off against Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau in The Showdown. Hosted at Shadow Creek Golf Club, The Showdown will not only feature four of the biggest names in golf but also some of the most entertaining playing formats across 18 holes.

Playing six holes of four-ball, six holes of alternate shot and six holes of singles, the four competitors will look to jive with their league teammates before taking on an individual from the other squad to round out the match. Whichever side compiles the most points throughout the competition will take home the grand prize in addition to a slew of bragging rights.

The trash talking between the two teams has already begun as DeChambeau poked fun of McIlroy’s closing performance at the 2024 U.S. Open, which helped the Crushers GC captain to claim his second major trophy. Those discussions shouldn’t slow down during the heat of the battle; between DeChambeau, Koepka, Scheffler and McIlroy, plenty will be said as the competition goes down.

CBS Sports will be with you the entire way updating this story with the latest scores, updates and highlights below.
