Alec Pierce questionable to return with heel injury

The Colts may have a significant injury issue with one of their best offensive players.

Alec Pierce, who has been on the injury report with a heel issue, hopped off the field after a play late in the first quarter. He then went to the sideline medical tent for further examination.

Pierce was shown on the NBC broadcast being helped to the sideline tent without putting any weight on his left leg — the same leg he had surgery on during the offseason. He was then carted to the locker room, seated in the front of the vehicle.

Pierce is officially questionable to return with a heel injury.

He had one catch for 11 yards before exiting the contest.

The Chiefs and Colts are tied at 10-10 early in the second quarter.
