Last week, Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak told reporters that he was optimistic about running back Ashton Jeanty’s potential availability for the club’s season opener.
Jeanty is taking steps in the right direction.
Kubiak told reporters in his press conference that Jeanty is expected to practice on Wednesday. Kubiak, however, did not disclose Jeanty’s anticipated level of participation.
Jeanty suffered an ankle injury during practice on Aug. 23. While the injury initially appeared like it could keep Jeanty out for an extended period, he was subsequently diagnosed with a sprain.
Las Vegas’ first injury report of the week will be out later on Wednesday, which will reveal whether Jeanty was a full or limited participant.
