Bears activate LB T.J. Edwards

Linebacker T.J. Edwards will be back on the practice field for the Bears.

The team activated Edwards from the non-football injury list on Wednesday morning. Edwards has been sidelined by a calf injury he picked up ahead of training camp and will likely be eased back into practice in hopes of avoiding any recurrence of the issue.

Edwards missed seven games during the 2025 season due to injury and he fractured his fibula in their playoff win over the Packers, so he and the team will be hoping for better health all around this season.

Edwards had 67 tackles, an interception return for a touchdown and a half-sack in his 10 regular season starts last year.
