This after allowing three earned runs over his previous three starts (17.2 innings). Houston counters with right-hander Cristian Javier (1-1, 7.17 ERA). Still working his way back from a shoulder injury, Javier has been solid his last couple of outings. He has not allowed a run in his last six innings of work including five shutout innings in his most recent start last Monday at the Angels.
