Dolphins re-sign QB Mark Gronowski to practice squad

The Dolphins have played musical chairs with their quarterbacks, with starter Malik Willis the only constant.

They traded Quinn Ewers to the Jaguars and released Cam Miller. After initially keeping Mark Gronowski on the active roster, the Dolphins sent a 2028 sixth-round pick to the Packers for Kyle McCord. They cut Gronowski in a corresponding move.

On Monday afternoon, though, the team announced that it has re-signed Gronowski to the practice squad.

He initially signed with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent on May 8. Gronowski finished his collegiate career at Iowa (2025) as a graduate transfer after five seasons at South Dakota State (2020-24).

The Dolphins also signed tackle Gottlieb Ayedze, safety Major Burns, tight end Jeremiah Franklin, running back Jarquez Hunter, edge Rodney McGraw, wide receiver Jalen Reagor, inside linebacker Cam Riley and running back Carlos Washington Jr. to their practice squad.
