Dre Greenlaw, Trent Williams, Mike Evans won’t practice Wednesday

49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan shared a long list of players who won’t practice on Wednesday at a press conference before the session.

The group includes linebacker Dre Greenlaw, left tackle Trent Williams, and wide receiver Mike Evans. All three players were injured during last Sunday’s win over the Cardinals. Greenlaw has a quad injury, Williams is dealing with a stinger, and Evans has a rib injury.

Shanahan said that he hopes Evans will be able to practice by the end of the week.

Defensive end Nick Bosa missed the Cardinals game with a calf injury and will not practice on Wednesday. Bosa is expected to miss more time with the injury, but will not be placed on injured reserve.

Defensive tackle James Thompson (ankle), defensive lineman Keion White (hamstring), wide receiver KhaDarel Hodge (knee), and running back Christian McCaffrey (rest) are also going to sit out the first practice of the week.
