Monday’s round of 32 World Cup ticket prices have fallen

The World Cup’s knockout phase began on Sunday, with Canada beating South Africa 1-0 on a goal in stoppage time at SoFi Stadium in L.A.

If you, like me, suddenly have an itch to attend one of the matches in the round of 32, you’re in luck. The ticket prices have fallen.

Via Sports Business Journal, the prices are down for the three games to be played on Monday.

The Brazil-Japan contest, to be played at 1:00 p.m. ET at Reliant Stadium in Houston, has a get-in price of $738 — down 54 percent in the past three days and 66 percent over the last week.

Germany vs. Paraguay, which starts at 4:30 p.m. ET at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, has a get-in price of only $487. That’s a 47-percent dip since Friday and a 69-percent drop since last Monday.

Tonight’s Netherlands-Morocco match in Monterrey (which may have the best backdrop of any stadium in the world) has a get-in price of $707. (First, you’d have to get to Mexico. Second, no tickets are currently available.)

Monday’s action gets rolling at 1:00 p.m. ET. Which can’t get here soon enough, given that there was only one game on Sunday.
