NFL suspends Saints WR Brock Rechsteiner for the first six games

The NFL has suspended Saints wide receiver Brock Rechsteiner for the first six games of the 2026 season.

The NFL announced the suspension on the personnel notice for Thursday. It did not indicate the reason.

Rechsteiner, an undrafted rookie, is eligible to participate in all preseason activities, including games, before the reduction to 53 players.

It could mean the end of the NFL journey for the former Jacksonville State player.

Rechsteiner is the son of Scott Rechsteiner, who wrestled under the aliases Scott Steiner and Big Poppa Pump and is in the WWE Hall of Fame. His uncle, Rick Steiner, was his father’s tag team partner, and Brock’s first cousin, Bronson Rechsteiner, currently wrestles as Bron Breakker.
