Report: Ravens C Jovaughn Gwyn has a fractured fibula

Ravens head coach Jesse Minter said this week that center Jovaugh Gwyn will be out for an extended period of time and a report on Wednesday sheds more light on the nature of his injury.

Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reports that Gwyn fractured his fibula during last Sunday’s win over the Cowboys in Rio. He is expected to miss two to three months as a result of the injury, so his return before the end of the season isn’t a sure thing.

Gwyn’s backup Ethan Pocic hurt his knee against the Cowboys, so rookie Vega Ioane moved over from guard to close out the game and Minter said he will remain there in Week 4.

The Ravens worked out Graham Glasgow, Kingsley Eguakun, and Kyle Hergel on Tuesday as they look for more depth on the offensive line.
