Bears take 14-7 lead as Caleb Williams, D’Andre Swift run for touchdowns

The Bears are running the ball at will in Carolina.

It’s still the first quarter, and Bears running back D’Andre Swift has eight carries for 65 yards and a touchdown, while quarterback Caleb Williams has two carries for 15 yards and a touchdown. The Bears lead 14-7.

Williams is also throwing the ball well, completing five of his first six passes for 88 yards, including a 47-yarder to Rome Odunze, who was questionable for the game but looks fully healthy.

The Panthers scored a touchdown on their first possession, but the offense is going to have to do more than that, because the Bears’ offense is firing on all cylinders.
