Jets add DE Joseph Ossai to the PUP list, activate WR Tim Patrick to active roster

The Jets moved wide receiver Tim Patrick back to the active roster on Tuesday, the team announced. Defensive end Joseph Ossai, though, was added to the active/physically unable to perform list.

Patrick, whose injury was undisclosed, went on the list Saturday.

He signed with the Jets in May after appearing in 16 games for the Jaguars last season. He totaled 15 receptions for 187 yards and three touchdowns in 2025.

Ossai, whose injury is undisclosed, signed with the Jets on March 12. A third-round pick of the Bengals in 2021, he has totaled 116 total tackles, 44 quarterback hits and 14.5 sacks.

In 2025, Ossai played a career-high 616 defensive snaps and logged 71 special teams snaps.

The Jets veterans reported to camp on Tuesday, and the team is scheduled to practice Wednesday morning at the Atlantic Health Jets Training Center.
