Seahawks second-round S Bud Clark carted off with leg injury

Seahawks rookie safety Bud Clark was carted off with a right leg injury in Sunday night’s preseason game against the Titans.

Clark was injured on the Titans’ first play from scrimmage on a 9-yard run by Tony Pollard.

The second-round pick wore a vacuum splint on his right leg as he left the field.

His teammates wished him well before he departed.

In the joint practice earlier in the week, the Seahawks lost wide receiver Jake Bobo for the season with a right leg injury.

Clark was competing for playing time behind starters Ty Okada and Julian Love after the Seahawks lost starter Coby Bryant in free agency.

Clark totaled three tackles in his preseason debut.

The Seahawks now will lean on D’Anthony Bell, A.J. Finley and Rodney Thomas.

The team’s first-round pick, running back Jadarian Price, has not suited up in the preseason, and he won’t play next week either as he works his way back from upper-leg soreness.
