Tony Romo is arrested for OWI in Milwaukee

Former NFL quarterback and No. 1 CBS NFL analyst Tony Romo was arrested in Milwaukee Thursday night for Operating While Intoxicated, first offense.

Fox News 6 obtained Romo’s arrest detention report. Per the arrest report, Romo was taken into custody after performing poorly on standard field sobriety tests.

Romo was booked and released. He’s due in court on Monday, September 21.

The Fox News 6 report doesn’t specify whether Romo submitted to breath testing, or whether he declined.

Undrafted in 2003, Romo became the Cowboys’ starter during the 2006 season. He retired after the 2016 season, and he immediately became the top analyst at CBS.
