Trey Hendrickson makes a big impact in his first game as a Raven

Trey Hendrickson signed a four-year, $112 million contract with the Ravens in March. After one game, he looks like he was worth the money.

Hendrickson didn’t have any sacks today against the Colts, but he was a constant thorn in the side of Daniel Jones — and when rushing Jones, Hendrickson was constantly getting the better of Colts left tackle Bernhard Raimann.

According to NFL Next Gen Stats, Hendrickson matched up with Raimann on 21 pass rushes, and on eight of those, Hendrickson pressured Jones. That’s a dominant performance for a defensive end against an offensive tackle.

When Hendrickson was on the field, the Ravens got pressure on Jones on 58.6 percent of his dropbacks, plus two sacks. When Hendrickson wasn’t on the field, the Ravens only got pressure on Jones on 20 percent of his dropbacks, with no sacks.

The 2025 season, Hendrickson’s last with the Bengals, was a down year for Hendrickson, who missed 10 games and recorded only four sacks. His first year with the Ravens is off to a great start.
